The Bega Valley Data Collective is excited and privileged to welcome Seer Data and Analytics as a partner.
We have signed a memorandum of understanding with Seer to be our technology provider and to provide access to their platform to host our community data space. One of the key aspects of the MOU is for Seer to engage a local data analyst to work with the collective and the Bega Valley community.
Seer is a civic tech company turning data into action for people creating a better world. Seer’s library of Open data, AI-generated data sets, data sharing capabilities and Smart Insights allows people of all skillsets to use data for problem solving to benefit society.
Our partnership with Seer significantly strengthens our position in building our community data space. Seer is more than a Data & Analytics Platform. They provide access, analysis and sharing of open data, alongside private data, to solve complex problems together with the Bega Valley community.
Seer believes that data is essential for the collaboration component of a thriving community, it’s also beneficial for analysing, measuring and reporting on the sustainability and innovation components. Collaboration, facilitated by data sharing, allows people at all levels of a community to be able to participate in decision-making and is an essential in being able to design a strategy for the future.
